2010 HNV Big Bear Run
Seven cars went on our Big Bear run and the weather and company was great! Like with most HNV runs we started off with lunch at a Mexican restraunt followed by a cruise around the lake. We stopped by the Big Bear Discovery Center and then returned to the village for shopping and it seems like a lot of ice cream.

Corvette Track Days 2010 - Spring Mountain

HNV Wins Two Trophies At The IFOP Car Show At Sunset Park
It was a perfect day at the park for a car show. There were 300 cars there. HNV had six cars entered. Two placed in the top 60 cars. For all the pictures click here

Paul's Detail Your Car Class!

Hot Nevada Vettes Supports Local Cub Scouts On their Pinewood Derby Day!
Nine Corvette attended the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby in East Las Vegas. The boys really admired the cars and posed with the cars for pictures. It was another perfect Las Vegas Day.

Hot Nevada Vettes Join Color Country Corvettes At Lake Havasu!
Hot Nevada Vettes joined the Saint George Corvette Club call Color Country Corvettes. Me met at the Mounte Lago at Lake Las Vegas and caravaned to Havasu. There we had some good times and laughs. The highlight was the lite boat parade both Friday and Saturday night.

Hot Nevada Vettes Re-elects the Current Club Officers
At our regular meeting Thursday night the current rouster of officers were re-elected for another term. Also, a by-law change was voted on and carried increasing the size of the club to 200 people or 100 cars. |

Hot Nevada Vettes burns Up the Track at Spring Mountain!
Hot Nevada Vetttes shows up with 3 - plus two future member cars at Corvette Tracks days October 24th and 25th. In addition, a number of members came out support and to ride along with our members.
Here's a shot of Paul going up against a new ZR1 with race tires....humm can anyone guess who won? Corvette Clubs from all over the country know about Hot Nevada Vettes. The events director of Corvettes of San Diego stop by for a chat and thank you for attending their event in August. The Pomona Corvette Association stop by and said they plan on attending our convention next year.

Steiner's Oktoberfest Car Show
Hot Nevada Vetttes hosted the Steiner's Oktoberfest Car show. Thirty five cars show their best on a perfect October evening. Corvettes trophies went to in 3rd place Susan Deirkin for a 2007 Pace Car, second place went to Vic Heackly for his C6 Convertible and first place to Angel Yumart for his new ZR1.

Peach Days Bringham Utah!
Hot Nevada Vettes was invited by the Corvette Club of Utah to participate in the Peach Day Parade and Car Show. A representive of HNV attended the event and found it to be one of the best in the country. Thank Corvettes of Utah!

2009 Santa Maria Winery Run - The Best Yet
7 cars traveled from Las Vegas for our annual Santa Maria run. Three of our Santa Maria members joined us on Saturday for wine tasting and lunch. Paul had some special surprises for those who went. We stopped at Avila Beach to get our feet wet.
Then on Sunday we went to Solvang for Breakfast and then over to Santa Barbara for a trip down the coast!

Steve and Karen's HNV Pool Party - Great Food and Fun Times!
About 25 people attended Steve and Karen's Pool Party. Steve cooked the burgers and hot dogs and everyone enjoyed the backyard and good company.

San Diego Car Show WOW! What A Location!
Hot Nevada Vettes had 5 cars enter the San Diego Car show with 400 other cars. We didn't win anything but the weather was perfect and sunny! HNV members got discounts to stay at the new Hilton below! So we had a great place to stay and it was walking distance to the Gas Lamp district where we had dinner! Saturday we went to the Corvette Grill where the owner let us use the meeting room of Corvette of San Diego to have lunch. They've been given the opportunity to dress it out as true Corvette lover would. It was COOL!
The host club appreciated our participation and we were noticed by many visitors.

HNV Grand Canyon / Sedona Trip
Five Corvette venture into the wilds of Arizona to explore the Grand Canyon and Sedona! It was a FUN event with lots of great views and good times!
There was a little rain but it didn't dampin' the fun!

2009 WSCC Convention Huge Success!
The 2009 Western States Corvette Council Convention hosted by Hot Nevada Vettes had: 225 Cars attended! 125 Cars at the Fremont Street Car Show 90 cars Autocrossed 40 cars Drag Raced 101 Cars did the poker and Gymmick Rallyes!

Another HNV Autocross & Done In Half the Time!
Hot Nevada Vettes puts on a second autocross in preparation for the WSCC Convention May 10th at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. We had eleven drivers and a few spectators last Saturday for our second autocross. Fighting 40 mph winds our drivers and setup crew braved the elements.
Everyone got four competition runs and afterwards was able to run the course with lots of fun runs. Everyone pretty much was done by 1:30 pm! Setup was reduced from four hours to two hours...which is much better! Click Here for pictures |

Hot Nevada Puts On First Autocross!
A Huge Success and a Lot of Fun!
We had 13 drivers in 11 cars attend Hot Nevada Vettes first Autocross. Next weekend HNV will invite more drivers to the event since we "have it down" now. This is in preparation for the WSCC Convention coming to Las Vegas May 7th - 11th. Winners list will be publish later this week. Our next autocross is April 25th!
It was a fun experience for Elie and his son Derick!

Cars and Coffee draws 30 Corvettes!
We had a large turn out for Cars and Coffee since it was the same day as Amber's Red Rock Run. Our waiting list builds as more Las Vegas Corvette owners want to join the fun!

Spring Mountain Run...A Lot of Fun!
We had three of our members running at Spring Mountain during Corvette Track Days. A group of 8 cars did a run to the track to support our drivers on Saturday. Our run included Lunch at Wulfy's and at stop and tour of the Pahrump Winery.
